Saturday & Sunday

Well not much "news" over the weekend. Aleia is doing pretty good. They started feeding her again on Saturday morning. She is still getting a little bloated with each feeding. But its not too bad. It does not seem to be all gone, but it's better. She is eating well and taking in large amounts at each feeding. She is sleeping a lot also. Tami and I went to see her later on Saturday evening. She was IV free and just on her stat monitors. So that much is good.

Sunday was sibling day. So we loaded up Ashlynn and went down to see her sister. This was Ashlynn’s first time her at Texas Children’s. She was very excited of course. Once we got there all she wanted to do was hold her little sister. She even managed to make Aleia smile for quite a while due to her giggling. Aleia found that pretty fun it seems. So that was pretty cute moment. Sunday was a pretty good day also. I took some picture but have not had a change to get them off the camera. I will put then up soon.

Still no word on the test results. We have asked every day. But it seems the weekend is not the best time for test results. So they say that Monday we should get some news. Or they should at least start processing the test? Who really knows at this point? But Aleia is doing well and that is all we can ask for right now.

I will post updates as they continue to happen...however slow it is...
